Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Proyecto Viviana collects, how we use it, and the rights you have. The data controller is Proyecto Viviana.
We collect only the data needed to create your account and run the apps. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
What we collect
Account data: your email address, whether it is verified, your name, your username, your profile picture (if you provide one), and your preferred language.
If you register with email and password, we store your email and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture from Google. We do not access any other data in your Google account.
Security and session data: to keep your account safe we store records of your sessions (a hashed session identifier, its expiry, the authentication time and method, the browser used, and the IP address) and counters of failed sign-in attempts.
In-app data: each app stores the content you create while using it (for example posts, attendance records, or map reports), linked to your account.
How we use your data
We use your data to create and manage your account, authenticate you, keep the platform secure, remember your preferences, and operate the apps.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
When you choose to sign in with Google, Google acts as an identity provider and its processing is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Our infrastructure is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes data on our behalf to deliver the service.
Cookies
We use a session cookie (HttpOnly) to keep you signed in and a cookie to remember your chosen language. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. Sessions expire automatically. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data except what we must keep for legal reasons.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data by writing to webmaster@proyectoviviana.org. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under that age.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy over time. We will post the current version on this page with its update date.
